!!!! What a place... I kind of had the feeling, driving up a steep road, that there had to be an amazing reward at the end, but this was way above any expectation. We were short on time, so couldn't enjoy all the dishes we were offered on the standard menu, but what we had was an absolute marvel, some of the best food I've ever eaten. Highly recommend!

Finally, a gourmet slow food experience that doesn’t skimp on the food! Absolutely 100% make a reservation—look them up on Facebook and send an email. You can’t just drop in. Also carry cash—at least 70€ per person. Totally worth the long drive and detour. By Michelin Guide standards, 2 stars means worth a significant detour. This is Michelin 2-star for me. It’s a fixed menu, and the owner/chef handled it all for me while I was there. Huge portions, delicious all-around. My favorite was the primi, the homemade pasta was excellent. The minestone had excellent body, with nice layered flavors, The potatoes with suckling pig was great. I loved it all, with maybe the deep-fried cauliflower in the starter being a bit bland.

We had a wonderful dinner here: 5 course menu consisting of Istrian classics served by the chef. Reasonably priced considering the experience and quality of the food. The private table in a small room by the fire made it all the more special

One of the most amazing experiences I’ve had. The owner and his wife are wonderful interesting people. The ambient, and attention to detail are flawless. And the food is done with so much care. Would recommend to everyone.

After high expectations due to good reviews, beautiful photos and the flexibility of the owner, because we were a little late for the agreed date, we didn't leave too satisfied... A fairy-tale atmosphere. The tea at the beginning was excellent, the recommended wine and appetizer as well. The mineštra was good but not exceptional. The main disappointment came with the pasta with truffles - the main reason for our visit. It's possible that there is something I don't know but further enhance the taste of pasta and truffles with parmesan - I don't understand that... White truffles are aromatic by themselves, if they are fresh and good quality. In this case, they were not. The suckling pig roulade with vegetable additions was excellent, I would have preferred to skip dessert. I allow the possibility that the owner was already tired, we were the only guests but his smile didn't reached his eyes, With a higher price range of the restaurant, you expect something more than we've got.

One word. WAW ! ! ! ! Go for it. 100€/person for a 6 courses meal drinks included. Totaly deserve 5 stars. Wonderful from the begining to te end. Best restaurant I have ever done. Everything was fresh and homemade. A lot of charm! Pay only cash... no card. You can look at the chief cooking by a window. Don't think... go !

This place is a wonderful experience for the senses. A lot of details are devoted to the decoration of the tavern. From the very entrance where you are greeted, to the room where you will enjoy the food. The food is a pure delight for the palate and the caterer's dedication to details and explanation is excellent. Would definitely recommend eating here.

Just amazing! From the venue itself, which is lovely decorated, first class service, to food and wine to die for, we had one of a kind experience. Situated near Buzet the restaurant has a beautiful garden in the shade making it a perfect destination during the summer and uniquely decorated indoors. With only a few tables, outside and inside, you get a personalized approach and attention every step of your gastro journey. In addition, all food is perfectly paired with wines. Due to the limited number of tables, you need to make a reservation and don't speed through the culinary journey. We loved it!
